The concept for the brand was conceived out of a consultancy project exploring new opportunities for an importer and trade supplier of Jewellery. Given their expertise in Silver and given the decline in general sales across the retail Jewellery market, the idea for a brand that was a ‘gift’ brand, rather than a Jewellery brand had various benefits. Distribution via non-jewellery retailers across the retail and web-based gift market, in the form of a card, with the product within the card was both an intelligent innovation as well as a neat brand for retail jewelers to carry at point of sale on a ‘exclusive line by line’ basis.
